Tour at the MET Museum. Rome is at the peak of its power. How will Christianity change it?
Service Description
The price includes entrance and a guided tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Rome is at the peak of its power. How will Christianity change it? 1st Century Rome is at the height of its power with a peak population of 90 Million. Roughly 20% of Earth's population. How did this vast empire’s political, social, and religious climate impact and affect its citizens and those whom they conquered? Why would a first-century religious movement known as Christianity threaten Rome’s status quo, and what lessons can we learn? These will be answered as you join this in-person tour at the MET entitled: “When in Rome.”
